• Profile information: family size, care preferences, cultural or faith-based requirements, caregiving experience, certifications, and availability.
• Communications: messages sent through the in-app messaging system, support requests, and feedback you submit to us.
• Booking data: care requests, schedules, and any notes or instructions tied to a booking.

Information collected automatically

• Device and usage data: IP address, device type, operating system, browser type, pages visited, and features used within the app.
• Location data: approximate location derived from IP address, and precise location if you grant permission through the app.

Information from third parties

If you register or log in via a third-party service (such as Google or Apple), we receive basic profile information from that provider in accordance with their privacy settings. We may also receive results from background-check providers for Carers, where applicable.

• Match Guardians with compatible Carers based on stated preferences and availability.
• Process and facilitate bookings and in-app communications.
• Send transactional messages (booking confirmations, reminders, support responses).
• Improve and personalise the Services through usage analysis.
• Maintain the safety and integrity of the platform, including fraud prevention.
• Send promotional communications, where you have opted in — you can opt out at any time.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms & Conditions.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:

• Between users: Guardians and Carers see relevant profile information (name, photo, bio, ratings) to facilitate matching and bookings.
• Service providers: We work with trusted third-party vendors (hosting, analytics, payment processing, background checks) who access data only as needed to perform services for us, under confidentiality agreements.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public.
• Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred. We will notify you before your data is subject to a different privacy policy.

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services. You may request deletion of your account at any time (see Your Rights below).
