Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the SaraaSits website, Guardian app, and Sitter app (collectively, the "Services"), operated by SaraaSits Inc. ("SaraaSits", "we", "our", or "us"). By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the Services. By registering, you represent that all information you provide is accurate and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. Accounts created on behalf of a family unit are the responsibility of the adult who registered.
2. Description of the Service
SaraaSits is a platform that connects families ("Guardians") with caregivers ("Carers") who share compatible cultural and faith-based values. SaraaSits provides the technology and infrastructure to facilitate these connections; it does not itself provide caregiving services and is not an employer of Carers.
Any agreement for the provision of care is made directly between the Guardian and the Carer. SaraaSits is not a party to that agreement and makes no representations about the suitability of any individual Carer for any particular family or child.
3. Account Registration
You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep your account information up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at info@saraasits.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
4. Guardian Responsibilities
Guardians who use the platform to arrange care agree to:
- Provide accurate information about the care needs of their household.
- Treat Carers with respect and ensure a safe working environment during the provision of care.
- Honour confirmed bookings or cancel within the timeframe set out in the booking terms.
- Pay any agreed fees promptly and in full through the platform's designated payment methods.
- Not share a Carer's personal contact details or arrange bookings outside the platform in a way that circumvents SaraaSits' systems.
5. Carer Responsibilities
Carers who use the platform to offer caregiving services agree to:
- Provide truthful information about their experience, qualifications, certifications, and availability.
- Consent to any background checks or verification processes required by SaraaSits.
- Honour confirmed bookings or cancel with adequate notice as set out in the booking terms.
- Maintain appropriate standards of care and conduct themselves professionally during engagements.
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations relating to childcare and caregiving in their jurisdiction.
6. Bookings and Payments
Booking confirmation, fees, and cancellation terms are set out within the Services at the time of booking. SaraaSits may charge a service fee for facilitating the connection and processing payments. All fees are disclosed before confirmation and are non-refundable except where expressly stated or required by applicable law.
SaraaSits is not responsible for any disputes between Guardians and Carers regarding payment, quality of care, or the terms of an individual engagement, though we may provide a dispute resolution process at our discretion.
7. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
- Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information on your profile or in communications.
- Harass, threaten, or discriminate against other users.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Services or another user's account.
- Use the platform to solicit users for services outside of SaraaSits or to compete with SaraaSits.
- Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Services without our prior written consent.
- Introduce viruses, malware, or any code designed to disrupt or damage the Services.
Violation of this section may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.
8. Reviews and Ratings
Guardians and Carers may leave reviews and ratings after a booking. Reviews must be honest, accurate, and respectful. We reserve the right to remove reviews that violate our community standards, contain personal attacks, or are otherwise inappropriate. We do not verify the accuracy of reviews but will investigate reports of abuse.
9. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, logos, and software associated with the Services are the property of SaraaSits Inc. or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission. You grant SaraaSits a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use content you submit to the Services (such as profile photos and reviews) solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Services.
10. Disclaimers
The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. SaraaSits makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the Services, including but not limited to the suitability, reliability, availability, or accuracy of any Carer's profile, qualifications, or conduct. SaraaSits does not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free.
SaraaSits is a technology platform. We are not responsible for the actions, omissions, or conduct of any Guardian or Carer, either on or off the platform.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SaraaSits and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the greater of the fees paid by you to SaraaSits in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $100 USD.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SaraaSits and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
13. Termination
You may close your account at any time by contacting us at info@saraasits.com. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or if we are required to do so by law. Termination does not affect any outstanding bookings or payment obligations.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the state in which SaraaSits Inc. is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in that state.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the revised Terms on this page with a new effective date and, where appropriate, by in-app or email notification. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
